Our story
The name B&B Elegance did not come from a marketing agency. The two letters B are the two of us: Besire and Biondina, mother and daughter.
Besire Selmancena, the mother, has worked with hair for more than twenty years. She started out with her own salon in Rahovec, called Sallon Ondulimi Bjonda. After many years there she moved to Pristina and worked in some of the best known salons in the city before reopening her own. That experience is not measured in words but in the number of heads that have passed through her hands.
Biondina Selmancena Hasku, the daughter, helped her mother from childhood and knows the salon's work from the inside. But she chose her own path. When Besire decided to reopen the salon in Pristina, Biondina finished her training in facial treatments and started work right away. So the salon did not become an enlarged copy of the mother's work, but grew into a second field. Alongside skin, Biondina also helps her mother with the hair services.
When the family name is above the door, every client is also reputation. A family salon has nothing to gain from rushing you, because its living depends on you coming back. That is also why we keep our prices among the most reasonable on the market: a salon that wants a relationship of many years prices differently from a salon that wants a single visit.
In many salons the facial treatment is a side service, done between two blow-dries by someone who mainly works with hair. Here the face is Biondina's field and hers alone, just as the hair is Besire's. When you ask about a hydrafacial, the answer comes from the person who does it every week.
For you this means one simple thing: you get your hair and your skin done in one visit, by two people who coordinate their time with each other. Before a wedding, a prom or simply before summer, that is a real saving of time and peace of mind.
In many salons in Pristina the staff changes often. A new stylist arrives, learns, leaves. The client who got used to one pair of hands finds the chair taken by another. In a mother and daughter salon this problem does not exist. On your second visit you do not start from zero: we remember your hair, your last color, your last treatment.
