Hydrafacial with radiofrequency: glow today, firmness over time

8 October 2026

Many people message us about hydrafacial with RF as if it were one treatment. In fact they are two different treatments that work in different ways. Here is what each one does, when it makes sense to pair them, and what to expect realistically.

The short answer: a hydrafacial cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates the skin, with a glow you see straight after the session. Radiofrequency uses controlled warmth to stimulate collagen, and firmness builds over a series of sessions. Together they cover both today's freshness and longer-term firmness. At B&B Elegance you book them separately: hydrafacial 60 €, radiofrequency 20 € per session.

What a hydrafacial does

A hydrafacial is a multi-step treatment: cleansing, gentle exfoliation, clearing out the pores and hydration with serums. The skin comes out fresh, soft and glowing the same day, with no strong redness and no downtime. That is why people often book one before an event. If you are after a quick skin refreshment, this is the treatment that does it. The effect is mostly on the surface: clean, hydrated skin, not tightening.

What radiofrequency does to the face

Radiofrequency sends controlled warmth into the deeper layers of the skin. That warmth prompts the skin to make new collagen, the protein that keeps it firm. It does not hurt, and most people describe it as a pleasant warmth. One session can leave the skin feeling a little tighter, but real firmness takes time. Most practitioners talk about 4 to 6 sessions, usually one to four weeks apart, and collagen keeps forming for weeks after the last one.

At the salon, radiofrequency is part of our modern facial treatments.

Why people combine hydrafacial and RF

Because they complement each other. The hydrafacial leaves the skin clean and hydrated today. Radiofrequency works on the firmness we slowly lose with the years. The pairing makes the most sense for skin that has started to lose some firmness, skin that looks tired or dull, and for anyone who wants a glow for a date coming up as well as a plan for the months after.

If your skin mainly needs cleansing rather than firming, a hydrafacial or a deep cleansing on its own is enough. Our guide hydrafacial or deep cleansing explains the difference.

Can you have both in the same visit?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Biondina decides based on how your skin looks on the day. If it is sensitive, irritated or red, it is better to split them over two visits. We do not promise the combination before we have seen your skin, because the same plan does not suit everyone.

What it costs

These are the prices from our list, for each treatment on its own:

TreatmentPrice
Hydrafacial60 €
Radiofrequency lifting, one session20 €
Deep cleansing and radiofrequency45 €

There is no package for hydrafacial and radiofrequency; each is paid at its own price. The only published combination with radiofrequency is deep cleansing with radiofrequency at 45 €. For more on hydrafacial pricing, see hydrafacial price in Pristina.

Is it a facelift without surgery?

No, and it is worth being clear about that. Radiofrequency makes the skin firmer and smoother, but it does not lift the face the way surgery does and it does not remove deep wrinkles. If you search for a facelift without surgery near you, think of RF as a way to keep skin firm and support it early, not as a replacement for an operation.

Some situations need a doctor before any radiofrequency treatment: pregnancy, a pacemaker or other electronic implant, metal implants in the face, and active skin infection or inflammation. For severe acne, rosacea or other skin conditions, see a dermatologist first.

Book and tell us about your skin

The simplest way to decide is for us to see your skin. Message us on WhatsApp or Viber with what bothers you most, dull skin, loss of firmness or both, whether you have a date coming up, and a photo of your face in daylight. Biondina will tell you where to start. We are on Rr. Jakov Xoxa in Pristina, Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 18:00.
