Skin guide
The real answer depends on your skin, not on one single rule. Here are the real intervals by skin type, and why more often does not always mean better.
The general rule: a deep cleansing every four to six weeks for most skin. But the exact interval depends on your type, and a good aesthetician tells you to come less often when the skin does not need it, not more often to make the numbers work.
| Skin type | How often | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Oily, with acne | Every 3 to 4 weeks | Pores clog faster and need more regular cleansing |
| Combination | Every 4 to 6 weeks | The T-zone needs it, the cheeks less |
| Normal | Every 6 to 8 weeks | Maintenance, not correction |
| Dry or sensitive | Every 6 to 8 weeks | More often irritates the skin instead of helping it |
The skin has its own protective barrier. Cleansing too often, especially harsh exfoliation, weakens that barrier and makes the skin more sensitive, not healthier. So when someone pushes you toward a treatment every week, that is a sign of selling, not of care. With us, if your skin does not need it, we tell you openly.
The work at the aesthetician is 20 percent of the result; 80 percent is your routine at home. Gentle cleansing twice a day, hydration to suit your skin type and sun protection every day. These keep the skin in order between cleanses and make the visits more effective.
Cleansing keeps the skin clean, but for particular concerns there are other treatments: hydrafacial for hydration and glow, radiofrequency for firmness and LED therapy for acne. Which one you need, Biondina decides after looking at the skin, or take a starting point from the hydrafacial or deep cleansing guide.
