Balayage has the highest starting price of any colour service on our list, and there is a reason for that. Here is what you pay for, what pushes the price up, and how to get an exact estimate before you come in.
The short answer: at B&B Elegance in Pristina, balayage costs from 140 €. The exact price depends on the length and density of your hair, the colour you start with and any previous colour. You get the estimate before your appointment, once you send us a photo of your hair on WhatsApp.
"From 140 €" is the starting point. What sits on top of it can only be seen on your own hair:
That is why we do not guess a price over the phone. Besire, who has worked with hair for more than 20 years, looks at your photo and tells you plainly what it costs and whether the result takes one session or two.
With balayage the colour is painted by hand, section by section, where natural light would fall. There is no template and no rushing. A full balayage usually takes 2.5 to 4 hours, as we explain in how long does balayage take. Full colour goes on evenly from root to ends, is quicker to do and costs 40 €. With balayage you mostly pay for time and the hand that paints it.
| Service | Our price | How it looks |
|---|---|---|
| Balayage | from 140 € | Hand-painted, natural sunlit look |
| Shatir, ombre | from 120 € | Gradual move from dark root to lighter ends |
| Highlights | 100 € | Full or partial highlights |
| Full colour | 40 € | One colour from root to ends |
Shatir and ombre give a more visible contrast at a lower starting price. Classic highlights add shine and dimension, but the root shows sooner as it grows. Balayage is the choice if you want the most natural result. If you are torn between them, our balayage, ombre or shatir guide (linked below) compares them side by side.
Often not. Full colour needs a root touch-up every three to four weeks, because the regrowth line shows quickly. With balayage the root grows out in your natural colour and the transition stays soft, so touch-ups come much less often. Hair care sources commonly mention a few months between balayage appointments, while classic foil highlights need refreshing sooner. How often you need it depends on your hair and how fresh you like the ends.
For the prices of every colour service, not just balayage, see our guide to hair color prices in Pristina.
Salon prices in Western Europe are generally much higher than in Pristina. In Zurich, for example, salon listings often show balayage starting at around 200 francs, and more once a cut and blow-dry are included. If you are visiting from abroad and want your colour done on the trip home, send the photo a week or two before you land so the appointment is ready.
Message us on WhatsApp or Viber with two photos of your hair in daylight, front and back, no filter, plus a photo of the balayage you like. Tell us when you last coloured it and whether you have used henna. We reply with an estimate of price and time and the first free appointment, Monday to Saturday, 9:00 to 18:00, on Rr. Jakov Xoxa. That way you know the price before you sit in the chair.
