The bridal trial: what to expect and how to prepare

The short answer: the bridal trial is an appointment before the wedding where the makeup and hair you will wear on the big day are tried out. The goal is to see the real look, to test how it holds, and to adjust everything while there is still time. At B&B Elegance the trial is included in the bridal price, 100 € for makeup and 100 € for hair.

Why it matters

A photo shows the wish, not the result on your real skin and hair. The trial turns the wish into a concrete look: how the makeup sits on your skin, how the style holds on your hair, and how it all looks in photos. That way, on the wedding day, you try nothing for the first time, you simply recreate what you already loved.

What to bring

• Photos of the look you want, two or three, not fifteen.
• A photo or details of the dress, especially the neckline and the style.
• The hair accessories, the veil or the crown if you have them.
• The colors you will wear, so the makeup can be matched.

When to book it

The trial is usually done a few weeks before the wedding, early enough to adjust but not so early that you change your mind completely. If you want a new hair color or a special bridal hairstyle, plan the trial once the color is settled. You will find the full timeline in the bridal timeline.

From the trial to the big day

After the trial, we keep notes on the products, tones and shapes we chose, so on the wedding day everything is repeated exactly. If you are coming from abroad and cannot come in for a trial in person, write to us; we plan it as best we can with photos and the time you have. To book your trial, send us the wedding date.
