Skin guide
Both exfoliate the skin and leave it smooth, but they work with entirely different tools. Here is which one suits your skin and why the prices differ.
The short answer: dermaplaning (15 €) removes the fine hair and dead cells with a blade, and lets makeup sit much better. Aqua dermabrasion (30 €) exfoliates with water and is gentler for sensitive skin that reddens easily. If the fine hair on your face bothers you, dermaplaning. If your skin is sensitive, aqua dermabrasion.
Dermaplaning uses a sterile blade that passes over the skin and removes the fine hair together with the layer of dead cells. The result is skin that is smooth to the touch and makeup that does not build up on the fine hair. It finishes with a nourishing mask.
Aqua dermabrasion exfoliates with the power of water, removing dead cells and cleaning the pores without harsh rubbing and without a blade. This makes it suitable even for skin that reddens from classic exfoliation.

For a wedding or an event where you will wear makeup, dermaplaning is the choice that smooths the skin most and makes makeup look flawless. Do it one or two days before. If your skin is sensitive, aqua dermabrasion gives you freshness without the risk of redness. For the exact timing by your date, see the bridal timeline.
Usually not in the same session, because both exfoliate and the combination would overload the skin. Biondina chooses one based on your skin and the goal, or alternates them across different visits. If you are not sure, ask before you book.
