How often to tint eyebrows and how long it lasts

By Besire Selmancena, 20+ years of experience

Tinting makes your brows look fuller without a pencil every morning. But how often should it be repeated, and how long does the result last? Here is the clear answer and the care that stretches it.

The short answer: an eyebrow tint usually lasts four to six weeks on the hairs, and a little longer on the skin. You repeat it when the color starts to fade, not on a fixed date. At B&B Elegance an eyebrow tint costs 8 €.

Why it lasts that long

The color grips the hair and, a little, the skin underneath. Brow hairs renew in cycles, so the color on them fades as the old hairs fall out and new ones come in. On the skin the color holds longer, a few days up to a week or so, and it helps the brows look full even where the hairs are sparse.

How to make it last

Tint or henna

A classic brow tint mainly colors the hair; henna colors the skin more strongly too and lasts a little longer, ideal for sparse brows. Which one suits you depends on how full your brows are and the look you want. Besire tells you based on your natural arch and color. The shaping is usually done together with the tint, so the brows come out full and tidy. To book, write to us.
